I have two years of experience tutoring both GCSE and A Level students and helping them achieve the grades that they deserve.

I focus on the student, not their results. I have seen first hand that once a student gains confidence, they can achieve almost anything. I have experience tutoring children with SEND. I love linking the Science and Economics syllabuses to the child’s interests and passions. Because of this, the students begin to see somewhat abstract topic as relevent to them and their aims. I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and am passionate about helping my students achieve the best possible grades.

I focus on making sure that my students understand sometimes complex and abstract scientific concepts with ease and can make vital links between topics. While I specialise in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, I also tutor GCSE English Literature, GCSE Combined Science, GCSE Economics and GCSE Business.

Sometimes even the brightest students cannot get all of the available marks because they lack exam practice. Therefore, when students are approaching exams, I focus on going through past papers. I try to make this fun by engaging with the student and breaking questions into smaller, more manageable chunks.
